ALMAWIWA is a young broodmare deriving from Janów Podlaski’s highly prized family of ALGERIA, through her most famous daughter ALBIGOWA.

The dam of ALMAWIWA – ALARA – is a second place class finalist from the European Championships in Verona in the senior mares’ category. She is currently a broodmare at one of the dynamically developing Polish private studs. Apart from ALMAWIWA, ALARA has also produced class top five finalists ALMORA (Polish Nationals) and AKKA RA (Prague Intercup).

ALARA herself is a daughter of ALABAMA, an exquisite Janów Podlaski show mare resulting from the successful modern “Golden Cross” of GAZAL AL SHAQAB (her sire) and EUKALIPTUS (her grandsire). Throughout her show career ALABAMA has been honored with the titles of Białka Junior Spring Show Top Five Mare, Scandinavian Open Senior Bronze Champion Mare, Polish National Senior Bronze Champion Mare, Deauville Arabian Cup Senior Bronze Champion Mare & Best Moving Mare. These are definitely the reasons why she was a high-seller of the 2014 Pride of Poland at 165 thousand Euro.

Moving further up the damline we come to ALABAMA’s dam, ALTONA, another Pride of Poland high-seller at 180 thousand Euro and best producing daughter of the beloved ALBIGOWA. ALTONA has blessed the breed with ALTAMIRA (Junior Spring Show Reserve Champion Mare, Autumn Show Junior Reserve Champion Mare, European Junior Top Five Mare, World Junior Top Ten Mare, Polish National Senior Top Five Mare, World Senior Top Ten Mare, Polish National Senior Top Five Mare, high-seller of the 2015 Pride of Poland at 250 thousand Euro, as well as dam of champions AMANITO, ANAWERA & ADELITA) and ATMA (Summer Show Senior Bronze Champion Mare from Wrocław, Autumn Show Senior Reserve Champion Mare from Janów Podlaski, dam of ATAKAMA – Junior Spring Show Gold Champion Mare, Polish National Junior Top Five Mare and Polish National Senior Top Five Mare; and ATANDA - Junior Spring Show Top Five Mare).

On the spear sire of the pedigree is ABYAD AA from the world-respected breeding program of Ariela Arabians, an Israeli Egyptian Event Champion Foal and Israeli Reserve Champion Foal. He is a grandson of the iconic mare THE VISION HG, dam of champion chief sires AL LAHAB, AL MARAAM, AL AYAL AA.
